Corps 20 - Saigon Newport Corporation presents gifts to show gratitude to wounded soldiers and children of martyrs

On the morning of July 17, Corps 20 - Saigon Newport Corporation solemnly held a meeting and presented gifts to war invalids and children of martyrs working at the unit on the occasion of the 78th anniversary of War Invalids and Martyrs Day (July 27, 1947 - July 27, 2025). Colonel Bui Van Quy, Deputy Commander of the Corps, Deputy General Director of the Corporation, chaired the ceremony.

At the meeting, the Corps leader sent his regards, encouragement and expressed his deep gratitude to the heroes, martyrs, wounded soldiers, sick soldiers and their families who contributed to the revolution, contributing to the cause of national liberation, building and defending the Fatherland. The Corps leader hopes that the wounded soldiers and children of martyrs will continue to promote the revolutionary tradition, preserve the cultural tradition of Tan Cang Saigon Family, and be exemplary in implementing the policies of the Party and State, and the regulations of the Army and Corps.

After the meeting, the wounded soldiers and children of martyrs also had the opportunity to participate in the program of returning to their roots in Hanoi and Quang Ninh province.

On this occasion, the Corps started construction, inaugurated and handed over 22 gratitude houses in the provinces of Gia Lai , Quang Ngai, Lam Dong, Thanh Hoa, and Hai Phong, to support policy beneficiaries with especially difficult housing circumstances.

In addition, visiting and gift-giving activities were also organized at the War Invalids Nursing Centers, presenting gifts to 130 Vietnamese Heroic Mothers and relatives of martyrs in 12 provinces and cities; burning incense to commemorate the recently deceased Vietnamese Heroic Mothers; meeting and giving gifts to 40 war invalids and children of martyrs working at the Corps, along with giving gifts to 670 relatives of workers who are war invalids and sick soldiers in the entire system. The total budget for these activities was nearly 5 billion VND.
