On the morning of September 17, the Political Department of the Military Command of Quang Tri province announced that from September 14 to the morning of September 17, Team 584 of this unit conducted a survey, organized a search and collected the remains of two martyrs at the construction area to renovate the campus of Bo De School (Quang Tri ward).

Initial information, the martyrs' remains were buried 60cm deep, wrapped in military hammocks and many relics such as: infantry shovels, helmets, AK ammunition boxes...
Bo De School is one of the few remaining architectural works after the war in the relatively bustling Quang Tri ward. The existence of Bo De School to this day with its bullet-riddled walls is evidence of the fierceness of the brutal war in the fate of an area that used to be the provincial capital of Quang Tri province. It is a powerful testament to the crime of destruction, the pain and loss that the people of Quang Tri had to endure during the war.

Currently, the martyrs' remains are being kept at the Cultural House of Quarter 3, Quang Tri Ward. At the same time, Team 584 is coordinating with local Party committees, authorities, and socio-political agencies to organize careful preservation, incense offering, and expand the search area around where the martyrs' remains were discovered.
