The Ministry of Education and Training has just announced the official exam questions and answers for all subjects in the 2025 high school graduation exam.

Up to this point, it is noted that many localities are focusing on grading high school graduation exams. Many localities expect to complete grading subjects by July 10, send data to the Ministry of Education and Training and announce exam scores on time.

Note to officials in charge of marking exams at all exam boards, especially essay subjects like literature, Deputy Minister of Education and Training Pham Ngoc Thuong said that open exams are not unfamiliar to teachers and students.

The marking instructions are also open-ended to properly assess students' abilities. There is a general marking ratio to ensure consistency. After completion, at least 5% of the test must be marked.

The Deputy Minister of Education and Training also noted that if there is anything unusual in the marking process, it needs to be reviewed to ensure fairness and the rights of candidates. In particular, the efforts, creativity, initiative, and individual thinking of candidates must be recognized, of course, ensuring that they follow output standards, the criteria of the educational process, and the marking instructions.

"The general principle and goal is to accurately reflect the candidates' abilities, aim for the candidates' real results, ensure the legitimate rights of candidates in organizing the exam and ensure fairness nationwide. The exam marking work must be quickly informed, handled promptly and effectively," Mr. Thuong requested.

In Hanoi , Mr. Tran The Cuong, Director of the Department of Education and Training, said that the locality has a very large number of exam papers, so the number of multiple-choice exams is also very large, about 450,000 papers. The grading and processing are done on two different software, so it is necessary to increase the grading machines and exam grading staff to complete the exam on schedule.

Exam results announced at exactly 8:00 a.m. on July 15.

According to the regulations of the examination boards of provinces and cities, the marking work High school graduation exams start from July 5 to 13. At exactly 8:00 a.m. on July 16, the exam councils will announce the exam results.

Departments of Education and Training must complete high school graduation exams no later than July 18. High school principals must issue temporary graduation certificates, return transcripts, and related certificates (originals) to candidates no later than July 22.

Candidates who want to review their exam results should send their applications to the exam registration units from July 16 to July 25. The review will be completed no later than August 3, and graduation recognition after review will be no later than August 8.

Departments of Education and Training must send the list of recognized graduates to the Ministry of Education and Training no later than August 15.

According to statistics, the whole country has over 1.16 million candidates taking the high school graduation exam in 2025, an increase of nearly 100,000 compared to last year.

This year's high school graduation exam became more special when it was organized for two groups of candidates, of which more than 1.13 million students took the exam according to the 2018 General Education Program and about 25,000 students took the exam according to the 2006 program (old program).

Candidates taking the new program will take four exams including math, literature and two elective subjects in foreign languages, chemistry, physics, biology, history, geography, economic and legal education, information technology, and technology (agriculture, industry).

Candidates for the old program take exams in math, literature, foreign language and a combination exam in natural sciences (chemistry, physics, biology) or social sciences (history, geography, civics).
