The Vietnamese Minister of National Defense sent invitations to the Ministers of National Defense of 8 countries: Russia, China, Laos, Cambodia, Cuba, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Azerbaijan, and also invited the military forces of 5 countries (Russia, China, Laos, Cambodia, Belarus) to send troops to participate in the parade at the celebration.
This is a symbolic act of friendship between the people and armies of the countries, and clearly demonstrates Vietnam's foreign policy of autonomy, multilateralization and diversification.
Responding to a question about Vietnam's handling of the case of two Korean women assaulting a Vietnamese woman, the Foreign Ministry Spokesperson said that Vietnamese authorities are verifying and clarifying relevant information to handle the case in accordance with Vietnamese law.
Regarding the Cambodian media reporting on July 16 that more than 200 Vietnamese people were arrested in a campaign to crack down on online fraud in the country, the Foreign Ministry Spokesperson said that the Vietnamese Embassy in Cambodia has proactively worked with relevant agencies to find out information. The Vietnamese Embassy in Cambodia has also requested the host country to ensure living conditions for Vietnamese citizens and coordinate to complete initial identity verification procedures.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs has directed the Vietnamese Embassy in Cambodia and relevant units to coordinate with domestic and local authorities to carry out necessary consular procedures and support the repatriation of citizens as soon as possible.
