Appointing Mr. Nguyen Ba Kien as Editor-in-Chief of VietTimes Magazine

At the ceremony, Chairman of the Vietnam Digital Communications Association Nguyen Minh Hong presented the decision to appoint Mr. Nguyen Ba Kien, Deputy Editor-in-Chief of Giao Thong Newspaper, as Editor-in-Chief of VietTimes Electronic Magazine from March 1, 2024.

Speaking at the ceremony, Chairman of the Vietnam Digital Communications Association Nguyen Minh Hong said that the new Editor-in-Chief of VietTimes Magazine is an excellent person in all three areas of expertise, ethics and administration, so he received high trust from the Association's Standing Committee and was considered for selection by the Association's leaders.

Affirming that VietTimes plays an important role in the Association's activities, Mr. Nguyen Minh Hong hopes that Mr. Nguyen Ba Kien will promote his intelligence and experience to help the magazine develop further, continuing to be a clean press agency that attracts many people's attention.

At the ceremony, Mr. Nguyen Minh Hong also thanked and appreciated the contributions of journalist Le Tho Binh, former Deputy Editor-in-Chief in charge of VietTimes, when he steered the magazine during difficult times. Those contributions have been very meaningful for VietTimes to have its current position.

Speaking upon receiving the appointment decision, the new Editor-in-Chief of VietTimes Electronic Magazine, Nguyen Ba Kien, thanked his predecessors for their hard work and dedication in building the magazine. He also expressed his gratitude for the trust of Chairman Nguyen Minh Hong and the leaders of the Vietnam Digital Communications Association. The new Editor-in-Chief hopes that the Association's leaders will continue to pay attention and support so that VietTimes can develop more and more firmly.

Journalist Nguyen Ba Kien was born in 1976 in Hanoi . During his career, he has held many positions, demonstrating his dedication and contribution, bringing about outstanding results and success.
Before being appointed Editor-in-Chief of VietTimes e-magazine, journalist Nguyen Ba Kien had 10 years of experience as Editor-in-Chief of Giao Thong Newspaper. He was highly appreciated by the leaders of the Ministry of Transport for his contributions in improving the position and quality of the newspaper.
