Ministry of Finance strengthens key leadership team of 3 important units

(Chinhphu.vn) – On October 6, the Ministry of Finance held a ceremony to announce the decisions to appoint leaders at the department and bureau levels. Accordingly, the Ministry announced the decision to appoint the Director of the Planning Management Department; receive and appoint the Director of the Tax, Fee and Charge Policy Management and Supervision Department; and the Director of the State Enterprise Development Department.

At the ceremony, Mr. Nguyen Xuan Truong, Deputy Director of the Department of Personnel Organization, announced three decisions of the Ministry of Finance. Specifically, Mr. Nguyen Duc Canh, Deputy Director in charge of the Department of Planning Management, was appointed to the position of Director of the Department of Planning Management; Ms. Tran Thi Minh Hien, Director of the Department of Legal Affairs ( Ministry of Construction ), was accepted and appointed to the position of Director of the Department of Tax, Fee and Charge Policy Management and Supervision; Mr. Vu Hong Phuong, Director of the Railway Project Management Board (Ministry of Construction), was appointed to the position of Director of the Department of State Enterprise Development.

Speaking at the ceremony, Deputy Minister Tran Quoc Phuong congratulated the three newly appointed officials and emphasized that the newly reorganized units all play an important role in managing and operating the key areas of the Ministry. The leaders of the Ministry of Finance expressed their confidence that the new leaders of the Departments and Bureaus in their new positions will continue to promote their capacity, experience and sense of responsibility to fulfill their tasks well, contributing to the overall development of the Finance sector.

The Deputy Minister also assigned specific tasks to each unit. In the field of planning management, the Deputy Minister requested to closely follow the Ministry's direction, ensuring the progress and quality of projects. Regarding tax policy, it is necessary to promote the role of policy as a management tool and support growth, because each tax adjustment has a great impact on the economy . As for state-owned enterprises, the Deputy Minister requested to thoroughly grasp the viewpoint of considering state-owned enterprises as the main force of the economy, proactively removing obstacles, encouraging innovation, and improving production and business efficiency.

On behalf of the Ministry of Construction, Deputy Minister Nguyen Danh Huy highly appreciated the capacity and sense of responsibility of the appointed comrades, and hoped that in their new positions, they would promote their mettle and experience, meeting high requirements in the financial sector - a field with a wide scope and profound impact on social life.

On behalf of the newly appointed officials, Mr. Vu Hong Phuong, the new Director of the State Enterprise Development Department, pledged to make efforts to promote the tradition of solidarity, innovate management thinking, accelerate the application of science and technology and digital transformation, contributing to improving the effectiveness of state management, institutional reform, promoting enterprise development and strengthening national financial potential.
