Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment disseminates the 2024 Land Law in Thai Binh

(CLO) On November 13, the People's Committee of Thai Binh province had a working session with a delegation led by Deputy Minister of Natural Resources and Environment Le Minh Ngan on state management of land in the province.

After the 2024 Land Law was passed by the National Assembly , the People's Committee of Thai Binh province issued Plan No. 75/KH-UBND, organizing the implementation of the Law and simultaneously issued 8 decisions detailing a number of articles of the Law and the assigned decree; is urgently completing the remaining regulations to issue decisions to ensure full institutionalization of the assigned contents in the Law and the decrees, in accordance with the practical situation in Thai Binh province.

Thai Binh province has organized a conference to propagate and train the 2024 Land Law, focusing on disseminating new regulations on land management, use and protection to create positive changes, contributing to bringing state management of land into order, in accordance with the law, using and protecting land resources in a reasonable and effective manner.

Directed departments, branches, district and city People's Committees, relevant agencies and units to organize propaganda and dissemination of land laws to cadres, civil servants, public employees and workers of agencies and units by appropriate forms.

At the meeting, leaders of local departments and branches raised a number of problems arising in the implementation of the 2024 Land Law such as: adjusting planning and land use plans; land recovery, land use planning targets; compensation, support for site clearance and resettlement; removing difficulties to speed up the appraisal and approval process of environmental impact assessments of projects in the province...

Deputy Minister of Natural Resources and Environment Le Minh Ngan highly appreciated the activeness and proactiveness of Thai Binh province in implementing the 2024 Land Law. At the same time, he requested Thai Binh province to strengthen the propaganda work on the 2024 Land Law in many forms to ensure unity and consensus in implementing the Law; perfect the apparatus of agencies and units assigned to manage the state on land, build a land database to meet the requirements of state management on land in the province.
