On September 13, according to information from the People's Committee of Ca Mau province, the government requested units and localities to strengthen inspection and supervision of compliance with regulations related to anti-smuggling, trade fraud, counterfeit goods, and intellectual property violations.
At the same time, strengthen control of areas where smuggling and trade fraud occur; expand inspections at warehouses, yards, wholesale markets, and e-commerce platforms; prioritize inspections of high-risk items: medicines, cosmetics, food, functional foods, fertilizers, and electronics.
The People's Committee of Ca Mau province also requested strict handling of violations of smuggling, trade fraud, counterfeit goods, and intellectual property infringement according to regulations. At the same time, major and complicated violations must be made public, and the list of violating organizations, businesses, and individuals must be made public.
Previously, during the peak month of attacking and suppressing crime, ensuring security and order for the Party Congress and major national holidays, Ca Mau Provincial Police units discovered and handled 29 cases of economic law violations, seizing more than 213 tons of goods of unknown origin and without invoices and documents.
All violations are handled according to the law.
