Ca Mau launched a peak campaign to fight against smuggling, trade fraud, counterfeit goods, and infringement of intellectual property rights in the province.

The purpose of the Plan is to effectively and promptly implement the Official Dispatch No. 65/CD-TTg and Directive No. 13/CT TTg. Strengthen the direction, inspection and supervision of the Departments, branches and People's Committees of districts and cities of Ca Mau on the work of combating smuggling, fraud, counterfeit goods and infringement of intellectual property rights during the peak period. Proactively detect, combat, prevent promptly and effectively and strictly handle violations, especially organizations and individuals involved in the production and trading of fake medicines, fake milk and fake health protection foods... Create a breakthrough in the work of combating smuggling, trade fraud, counterfeit goods and infringement of intellectual property rights associated with the process of rearranging administrative units at all levels; improve management capacity, define responsibilities, functions and tasks, avoid overlapping, missed tasks, and leave no gaps in state management.

The Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee directs the implementation, inspection, urging, and guidance of Departments, branches, and functional forces to launch a peak campaign against smuggling, trade fraud, counterfeit goods, and infringement of intellectual property rights in the area according to Directive No. 13/CT and Official Dispatch No. 65/CD-TTg.

Focus on checking key items that have received public opinion in recent times; conduct surprise inspections and strictly handle violations of the law on smuggling, production and trading of counterfeit goods, goods that infringe intellectual property rights, and goods of unknown origin.

Strengthen information and communication work, mobilize organizations and individuals to participate in denouncing and fighting against smuggling, trade fraud and counterfeit goods in various and practical forms. Do a good job of receiving, handling denunciations, reports and recommending prosecution of smuggling crimes according to regulations.

Strengthen the management of cadres, civil servants and soldiers in terms of awareness and implementation of the fight, prevention and repulsion of degradation in political ideology, ethics and lifestyle, and building a clean and strong internal force. Do a good job of emulation, promptly commend and reward collectives and individuals with outstanding achievements, contributing to creating a vibrant competitive atmosphere during the peak period in particular and the work of preventing and combating smuggling, trade fraud and counterfeit goods in general; at the same time, strictly handle according to regulations cases of violations, signs of "ignoring", "assisting", "protecting" criminals and law violations.

Conduct a summary and evaluation of the implementation of Official Dispatch No. 65/CD-TTg; propose solutions to improve the effectiveness of anti-smuggling, trade fraud and counterfeit goods in the coming time./.
