
According to Mr. Nguyen Phuong, when he visited the garden, he discovered that the first ripe coffee trees of the season had been picked. Thieves had broken off branches and taken them to other places to harvest. This not only caused economic damage but also seriously affected the growth and development of the plants.

Mr. Phuong’s family is currently cultivating 4 sao of coffee. Of these, more than 20 of the first ripe coffee trees of this year’s crop were vandalized.
Similarly, Ms. H.'s coffee garden (cultivated near Mr. Phuong's family's garden) also had branches broken and nearly 30 trees stolen.
According to local people, the coffee harvest will begin in about a month. The fact that the newly ripe coffee has been broken off and stolen by thieves has made people extremely worried.

It is known that in recent years when coffee prices have increased, coffee theft has become a problem in Lam Dong . Many cases of coffee theft have been discovered, investigated and clarified by the authorities.
