This year, only two cities have officially announced fireworks displays on the occasion of National Day, September 2nd: Ho Chi Minh City and Binh Thuan .
According to Article 11 of Decree 137/2020/ND-CP, on the occasion of National Day September 2, the following localities will be allowed to fire high-altitude fireworks: Hanoi , Ho Chi Minh City, Hai Phong, Da Nang, Can Tho, Thua Thien - Hue.
Other localities will have low-altitude fireworks. The time of the fireworks display is 9 p.m. on September 2.
According to information from the Hanoi Department of Culture and Sports , the city will not organize fireworks displays on the occasion of National Day September 2 this year.

Ho Chi Minh City: The Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee has just issued a document on organizing fireworks displays to celebrate the 79th anniversary of National Day (September 2, 1945 - September 2, 2024). 2 fireworks display locations include: The area at the beginning of the Saigon River tunnel, Thu Thiem Ward, Thu Duc City (high-altitude fireworks display) and Dam Sen Cultural Park, Ward 3, District 11 (low-altitude fireworks display).
Fireworks display time is 15 minutes, lasting from 9:00 p.m. to 9:15 p.m. on September 2, 2024.
Binh Thuan: On August 6, the People's Committee of Binh Thuan province agreed to organize low-altitude fireworks display to celebrate the 79th anniversary of National Day, September 2, at 9:00 p.m. on September 2, 2024, with a duration of no more than 15 minutes (90 low-altitude displays).
Location: NovaWorld Phan Thiet (NovaWorld Phan Thiet sea square area, Tien Thanh commune, Phan Thiet city, Binh Thuan).
