The official website of the German Foreign Ministry (Auswaertiges-amt) published a joint statement issued by the G7 foreign ministers after the meeting, in which they reaffirmed their support for Ukraine and their commitment to Kiev's long-term security.

The G7 also reiterated its commitment to a free and open Indo- Pacific region, based on the rule of law, inclusive, prosperous and secure, respecting sovereignty, territorial integrity, peaceful resolution of disputes, fundamental freedoms and human rights.

Once again highlighting the importance of cooperation with regional partners and organizations, especially the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN), the G7 also expressed its willingness to cooperate with China to address global challenges, while calling on Beijing to step up efforts to promote international peace and security.

Regarding the situation in the East China Sea and the South China Sea, G7 diplomats continued to emphasize their strong opposition to any unilateral attempt to change the status quo by force or coercion, while reiterating their call for the complete denuclearization of the Korean Peninsula.

On the Middle East, warning that current actions and reactions "could amplify a dangerous spiral of violence, dragging the entire region into a broader regional conflict with unpredictable consequences", the G7 called for an immediate end to the ongoing cycle of violence.
