According to information from the Cam Pha - Van Don - Co To Regional Tax Department, as of December 25, the budget collection work of the Department in 3 localities reached nearly 1,202 billion VND. In particular, the targets for tax and fee collection have all been completed, exceeding the revenue target that the Quang Ninh Provincial Tax Department launched in the last days of the year.
In 2024, the Cam Pha - Van Don - Co To Regional Tax Department was assigned to collect over 3,211 billion VND, of which land use fees are over 1,700 billion VND, other taxes, fees and one-time land rents are over 1,506 billion VND.
Due to the impact of typhoon Yagi , the real estate market has not improved due to reduced purchasing power, failure to attract investment in large projects and problems related to land, compensation, site clearance; some support policies for businesses and people have reduced tax revenue in the localities of Cam Pha, Van Don, and Co To.
By December 25, 2024, the Cam Pha - Van Don - Co To Regional Tax Department had collected nearly VND 1,202 billion, equal to 100.9% of the revenue the Tax Department launched in the emulation campaign. Of which, taxes, fees and charges collected reached over VND 1,080 billion, exceeding 1.4% of the revenue the Tax Department launched in the emulation campaign. Excluding the one-time land rental fee, all tax and fee revenue targets exceeded the estimate assigned at the beginning of the year. Land use fees collected reached over VND 121 billion, reaching 7.12% of the estimate assigned by the province.
Specifically: In Cam Pha city, the Regional Tax Department performed the task of collecting state budget revenue of over 943 billion VND, reaching 101% of the revenue launched by the Tax Department in the emulation campaign. In Van Don district, the budget revenue of the Regional Tax Department achieved nearly 235 billion VND, reaching 100% of the revenue launched by the Tax Department in the emulation campaign. In Co To district, the revenue of the Regional Tax Department achieved nearly 24 billion VND, reaching 104% of the revenue launched by the Tax Department in the emulation campaign.
