The new Miss World Vietnam - Miss World Vietnam 2023 Huynh Tran Y Nhi said that before the contest, she attended a performance and behavior training course. "At first, when I joined the contest, I was still shy and did not dare to express myself, but during the past journey, I have tried to be more confident and courageous," Y Nhi shared.

Surpassing 39 contestants, Huynh Tran Y Nhi (21 years old, from Binh Dinh) won the highest title of Miss World Vietnam 2023 in her home country - Binh Dinh province. This incident made a part of the audience think that the new beauty queen was somewhat biased.

Ms. Pham Kim Dung, Head of the Organizing Committee and Head of the Jury of the contest, said that Y Nhi is a new, genuine face and through the 2-month journey as well as the national final night, she proved herself to be an outstanding factor.

“She has potential, can transform, we appreciate her efforts to improve. Y Nhi performed well, has a beautiful body, and a face with international features. Before the final night, we wondered if Binh Dinh province knew they had such strong contestants. We are looking for a worthy top 3, a worthy beauty queen. If there are opposing opinions, we will find a way to explain and share so that people understand that the goal of the contest is to find worthy, suitable people. Whoever wins the crown will participate in promoting Binh Dinh province. We have found the most suitable girl. Y Nhi winning the crown in her hometown is a coincidence, there is no pressure,” Ms. Kim Dung shared.

Miss Ý Nhi is 21 years old this year, 1.75m tall, with measurements of 79-59-89cm. She is currently a 3rd year student at the International University - Ho Chi Minh City National University, has good English communication skills, and is considered to have a harmonious combination of appearance, education, and stage skills.

Newly crowned Miss Ý Nhi expressed that achieving the title was worthy of her efforts and she will try to improve herself in the future. Ý Nhi said her father is the director of a construction company, her mother is a housewife. In Ý Nhi's family, there are also two younger sisters. Ý Nhi said she learned from her father the courage, independence, and consideration for others. The beauty has used this courage to shine on stage in her own way.

The two runners-up Dao Thi Hien and Huynh Minh Kien shared that participating in the contest gave them a lot of experience, including acquiring many skills and experiences that would take a long time to gain in real life.

First runner-up Dao Thi Hien (born in 2001, from Nghe An), is 1.75m tall, with measurements of 86-63-90cm. She is currently a student at Hanoi University of Business and Technology.

Second runner-up Huynh Minh Kien, from Ninh Thuan , born in 2004, is one of the youngest contestants in the contest. Minh Kien is 1m72 tall, with measurements of 80-61-90cm. She is currently a student at Ho Chi Minh City University of Agriculture and Forestry.
