(Baothanhhoa.vn) - The Provincial Hydrometeorological Station has just issued a warning of flash floods, landslides, and land subsidence due to heavy rain or water flow in Thanh Hoa province.

During the period from 4pm to 8pm on July 19, Thanh Hoa province had rain, moderate to heavy rain, some places had very heavy rain and thunderstorms. The amount of rain measured at automatic rain gauges is as follows: Co Lung: 85.4mm, Phu Le 2: 74.6mm, Thanh Son 71.2mm, Lung Cao 65.2mm, Phu Xuan 65mm, Phu Le 1: 61.6mm...

The soil moisture model shows that the current soil moisture status (the amount of water accumulated in the soil) of some areas in the above communes is close to saturation (over 85%) or has reached a saturated state.

The provincial Hydrometeorological Station warns of rain in the next 6 hours. There is a possibility of rain, moderate rain and thunderstorms in the province with accumulated rainfall ranging from 10 - 30mm, in some places over 40mm.
