Dong Nai traffic police promote traffic safety to thousands of students

(DN) - On September 8, the Traffic Police Department, Dong Nai Provincial Police simultaneously organized propaganda on traffic safety laws at many schools across the province, aiming to raise awareness of traffic law compliance for teachers and students.

Traffic Police Team No. 3 coordinated with the police of Thien Hung and Loc Hung communes to organize propaganda for nearly 3,400 teachers and students at 4 schools: Loc Thai High School, Loc Thai Secondary School, Thanh Hoa Primary and Secondary School and Thanh Binh Secondary School. Students were informed about basic traffic knowledge, safe driving methods and consequences of violations. The functional forces distributed more than 2,200 leaflets, gave 40 helmets to students in difficult circumstances and organized them to sign a commitment to obey traffic laws.

Dong Phu Traffic Police Station and Nghia Trung Commune Police have disseminated information to 880 students of Nguyen Truong To Secondary School. In addition, 14 drivers of school buses were also required to sign a commitment to comply with regulations on speed, alcohol concentration and not carry more passengers.

In Tam Hiep ward, the Traffic Accident Investigation, Dispute Resolution and Violation Handling Team has communicated to more than 1,700 students and teachers of Tran Bien High School.

This activity is part of the Traffic Safety Month (September), contributing to the formation of awareness and responsibility of students when participating in traffic, towards a safe and civilized traffic environment. Thereby, contributing to helping students gain more useful knowledge about traffic safety laws, building awareness and responsibility of students in participating in traffic according to regulations, pushing back violations of traffic safety order.
