Improve swimming, diving, search and rescue skills

On September 16, at Bao Dinh River, Long An Ward, the Fire Prevention, Fire Fighting and Rescue Police Department (PCCC and CNCH) of Tay Ninh Provincial Police organized a drill and specialized training on swimming, diving for search and rescue.

The Fire Prevention, Fire Fighting and Rescue Police Department organized a drill and specialized training in swimming, diving, search and rescue at Bao Dinh River, Long An Ward.

The main contents practiced include: Rescuing victims and handling dangerous situations underwater; first aid for drowning people; applying rescue tactics when there are drowning accidents in rivers, streams, ponds, lakes, wells, deep holes with water, or waterway traffic accidents; practicing diving to search for evidence and victims.

The leader of the Fire Fighting and Rescue Team, Fire Prevention and Rescue Police Department guides the forces participating in the exercise.

Lieutenant Colonel Nguyen Duy Son - Captain of the Fire Fighting and Rescue Team, Fire Prevention and Rescue Police Department of Tay Ninh Province, said: "We have appropriate training courses to help the underwater search and rescue force perform smoothly and achieve high results when performing tasks. On that basis, we will regularly review comrades with skills and qualities to select them to perform swimming and diving rescue tasks."

Forces practice rescue of drowning people

With the unique terrain of Tay Ninh province with many rivers, streams, canals and ditches, training and practicing swimming, diving and search and rescue skills plays a key role.

This is the foundation for the rescue force to master skills, be ready to respond to all emergency situations promptly, accurately and safely, contributing to protecting the lives and property of people in the area./.
