On February 28, fisherman Nguyen Thanh (Ly Son island district, Quang Ngai) caught a shark weighing more than 200kg. When docking at the port, a crane had to be used to lift the struggling giant fish from the ship to shore.
Mr. Thanh caught this shark in the sea area about 2 nautical miles from Ly Son Island. When the fish bit the hook, Mr. Thanh did not expect it to be so big and had to work very hard to subdue the fish weighing more than 200kg.
After bringing the fish to the wharf on Ly Son Island, Mr. Thanh had to use a crane to lift the fish from the boat to shore. In all his fishing life, Mr. Thanh had never caught such a big shark.
