Brazilian quality adds to HAGL's domestic players

Since investing in football, besides Mr. Duc's special relationship with Thai football, Brazilian culture has always left a strong mark in the history of HAGL Club.

In the 2024 - 2025 season, HAGL used 3 foreign players, all Brazilian players, including midfielder Jairo Filho, midfielder Silva Marciel, and striker Washington Brandao. The results were quite impressive when Jairo scored 4 goals, Brandao scored 6 goals, while Marciel was one of the best rookies in V-League 2024 - 2025 with 4 goals and 4 assists. This season, when the Organizing Committee agreed to increase the foreign player quota to 4, the HAGL leadership decided to continue using 100% of Brazilian foreign players. In addition to Jairo and Marciel being retained, the mountain town team added central midfielder Khevin Fraga and striker Gabriel Conceicao. Khevin Fraga (27 years old) is 1.9 m tall and has a strong playing style suitable for both the holding midfielder and central defender positions, while Gabriel Conceicao (24 years old, 1.83 m tall) used to play for the U.20 Fluminense team and made 5 appearances for the Botafogo first team.

In addition, the adaptability of the samba dancers is also a reputable brand, while Jairo and Marciel have proven their responsibility and passion every time they step on the field.

At this point, HAGL has officially closed the dedication cycle of the 1st and 2nd courses of HAGL JMG Academy after the departure of captain Minh Vuong along with Van Son, Quang Nho, Bao Toan... The team of the duo Technical Director Vu Tien Thanh and Head Coach Le Quang Trai will continue the strategy of developing young talents "made in Ham Rong". The internal framework of HAGL at this time can include goalkeeper Trung Kien, defender Ly Duc, midfielder Thanh Son, Du Hoc, Dinh Lam... They will be supplemented with the creativity and fighting spirit of Brazilian foreign players to continue fighting in V-League 2025 - 2026. Coach Le Quang Trai once affirmed that HAGL is ready to sacrifice achievements on the field to maximize playing opportunities for domestic players, to contribute to the national teams. It will be another season, the third consecutive season that HAGL is out of the championship race, setting more modest goals, but the way they are doing it promises to bring a very unique color to V-League 2025 - 2026.

On June 23, just one day after the last match of V-League 2024 - 2025 ended, HAGL Club officially started the project to completely renew the Pleiku stadium's turf, replacing the ginger grass layer that is more than 50 years old with the coniferous grass that is currently used by most V-League teams. In the new season, when the teams travel to Pleiku stadium, in addition to having to adapt to the thin air on the plateau, it will be even more difficult as the ball will roll faster, meaning that HAGL's low-touch coordination will be "lightning fast".
