The contest was attended by 53 contestants from restaurants, hotels, tourist areas, and students majoring in Tourism at Gia Lai College and Quy Nhon College of Technology.

Candidates go through 4 professional competitions including: reception - introducing themselves and the hotel, practicing professional procedures and handling situations; housekeeping - skills to quickly prepare beds and handle situations given by the judges; restaurant - performing wine serving procedures and handling situations; hotel management - introducing themselves, the unit and handling situations.

At the end of the competition, the jury awarded a total of 16 prizes (first, second, third) for the categories. In particular, the first prizes went to: Ho Phan My Ngoc (Pleiku & Em Hotel) in the Front Office Skills competition; Ho Thi Hoa (Pleiku & Em Hotel) - Housekeeping; Ho Phan Hanh Nguyen (Pleiku Hotel) - Hotel Skills; Ly Nguyen Hao (Quy Nhon College of Technology) - Restaurant Management.

Ms. Nguyen Thi Kim Chung - Deputy Director of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism - said: This year's contest attracted a large number of tourism workers and tourism vocational students from two special areas of East and West Gia Lai , thereby encouraging the spirit of learning and exchange between contestants.
This is also an opportunity for tourism human resources to practice professional skills, contributing to improving the quality of services and tourism in the province.
