Chi Linh needs more than 72,000 billion VND for urban development by 2040

The Provincial People's Committee has just decided to approve the Urban Development Program of Chi Linh City until 2040. Accordingly, Chi Linh urban area is divided into 3 areas with the goal of concentrated development, suitable to natural characteristics, as well as economic , cultural and social conditions.

Area 1 is the core area for developing cultural and ecological tourism, resorts associated with preserving special national cultural heritage. Area 2 is the area north of Highway 18, developing ecological agriculture associated with resorts. Area 3 develops new urban areas, commercial services and high-tech industry.

To achieve this goal, Chi Linh City focuses on 3 priority project groups to be implemented in the first phase. These are project groups on urban planning and development plans; on social infrastructure and on technical infrastructure.

The budget for implementing the Urban Development Program until 2040 of Chi Linh City needs more than 72,000 billion VND. Of which, the central budget is about 3,772 billion VND; the provincial budget is more than 13,340 billion VND; the city budget is nearly 18,000 billion VND and other sources of capital.
