Details of the newly launched Kia Stonic 2026, from 769 million VND

Kia has just announced the price and specifications of the Stonic 2026 in the UK, the upgraded version of the B-class crossover and the second upgrade since the Stonic's launch.

Compared to the light facelift in 2020, the Kia Stonic 2026 model has been completely renewed both inside and out. The car's design style is now more consistent with new models in the Kia family, such as Picanto or Sportage.

The dimensions of the 2026 Stonic remain urban-friendly, with a length of 4,165 mm, a width of 1,760 mm, a height of 1,500–1,520 mm and a wheelbase of 2,580 mm. The car's luggage compartment has a capacity of 352 liters, expanding to 1,155 liters when the rear seats are folded, while the fuel tank capacity reaches 45 liters.

Kia continues to keep it simple by offering just one 1.0L T-GDi turbocharged petrol engine option. In the Pure trim, this engine produces 98 horsepower, combined with a 6-speed manual or 7-speed dual-clutch transmission.

The car can accelerate from 0-100 km/h in about 11 to 12.1 seconds, with a maximum speed of 178 km/h. Meanwhile, the GT-Line and GT-Line S versions use a 48V mild-hybrid system, increasing the capacity to 113 horsepower, accelerating from 0-100 km/h in about 10.7 to 10.8 seconds, with a maximum speed of 182 km/h.

The car's interior is supplemented with a modern digital display cluster, smarter connectivity and many driving assistance technologies, helping this crossover maintain its competitive advantage in the increasingly crowded urban SUV segment.

The standard equipment of the Stonic 2026 is considered quite comprehensive. 12.3-inch touch screen with integrated navigation, Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, LED lights, cruise control, lane keeping assist, rear camera...

In addition, parking sensors and a forward collision avoidance system are available on all versions of the Kia Stonic 2026. Notably, customers only need to pay extra if they want to choose a paint color, instead of many complicated option packages.

The higher-end version will have a sunroof, interior lighting, heated seats and steering wheel, wireless charging, a 12.3-inch digital driving screen and an advanced safety package, aimed at customers who want to experience the technology of a large SUV in a compact body.

In terms of safety equipment and driver assistance, the new Stonic is equipped with features such as smart cruise control with navigation, highway driving support, blind spot collision warning and door opening warning when there is a vehicle coming from behind.

In the UK market, the 2026 Kia Stonic starts at £21,795 ($29,380), making it one of Kia's most affordable models, behind only the Picanto.
