On the occasion of September 2nd holiday this year, tourists will experience many unique cultural and tourism products during the peak tourist season at the end of the year in Nha Trang.

Entertainment activities at VinWonders and Vinpearl Harbour Nha Trang on Hon Tre Island are still the choice of many tourists.

In addition, many shows have been launched recently such as The Alma show (Alma resort Cam Ranh), Legendary Light live show (Old Nha Trang area), Vietnam Hundred Arts show (Vinpearl Nha Trang) and Chum show (That Theater) held weekly are attracting a large number of tourists.

Champa Island Nha Trang tourist area will also organize a lantern festival, visitors will be able to light the lanterns themselves and gently release them into Cai River to pray for peace and happiness.

The Office of the Khanh Hoa Provincial People's Committee said it will organize a special art program to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the National Day of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam on the evening of September 2, at two central locations: April 2 Square (Nha Trang Ward) and April 16 Square (Dong Hai Ward).

The highlight of the program was a 15-minute low-altitude fireworks display, marking the beginning of an era of national growth.

Khanh Hoa province also launched a series of activities before, during and after the holiday such as the Miss Vietnam Businesswoman and Beauty 2025 contest from September 4 to 7 at April 2 Square, and the Miss Vietnam Ocean 2025 contest from September 11 to 20 at Vinh Hy resort; Khanh Hoa culinary festival (August 28 to September 5 at the coastal park on Tran Phu street) and a number of other cultural and tourism activities.

Talking to Tuoi Tre Online , Mr. Nguyen Phi Hong Nguyen - Vice President of the Travel Association (Nha Trang - Khanh Hoa Tourism Association) - said that on the occasion of the September 2 holiday this year, tourists tend to go to Hanoi and the northern provinces.

"Currently, the number of tourists taking tours during the holidays at travel agencies has not increased significantly, due to the 80th anniversary of National Day, followed by the start of the new school year, so the number of tourists has not increased significantly," said Mr. Nguyen.

He also commented that currently, tourists have less tendency to travel during holidays, mainly tourists from neighboring localities and tourists returning home for holidays.

Ms. Nguyen Thi Uyen Chi - Vice President of the Hotel Branch (Nha Trang - Khanh Hoa Tourism Association) - said that regarding the room capacity on the occasion of September 2, accommodation establishments in Nha Trang have the number of guests booking rooms at nearly 90%, mainly on August 30 and 31.

September 1 and 2 recorded room occupancy rates of only 30-60%, down from last year due to coinciding with the 80th National Day celebration in Hanoi.

Resorts in Bai Dai area recorded about 90% of room bookings, some resorts such as The Anam Cam Ranh, Alma Cam Ranh recorded nearly 100% of guests as this area is mainly international guests.

In 8 months, Khanh Hoa welcomed more than 12 million visitors.

According to the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Khanh Hoa, in the first 8 months of 2025, the total number of visitors served by tourist accommodation establishments is estimated at more than 12.8 million.

Of which, international visitors are estimated at more than 3.7 million, domestic visitors are estimated at more than 9 million, total tourism revenue is estimated at nearly VND 50,586 billion, an increase of 17.8% over the same period in 2024.

In August 2025 alone, Khanh Hoa is expected to welcome more than 1.9 million visitors, of which international visitors are estimated at 498,000 and domestic visitors are estimated at 1.43 million. Total tourism revenue in August is estimated at nearly VND 7,661 billion, up 12.9% over the same period in 2024.
