With its special geographical location, Ca Mau is a land where forests, seas, rivers and fertile alluvium intersect, creating a rich source of raw materials to prepare many unique, rustic dishes. The cuisine here bears a strong Southern imprint, while blending with the typical culinary features of Kinh - Hoa - Khmer, creating richness and its own identity.
Mentioning Ca Mau , people think of A Mat pancakes, Ngan Dua rice cakes, spicy beef noodles, and specialties of shrimp, crab, three-sided crab, U Minh fish sauce... These dishes are not only closely associated with the people's lives but also leave a strong impression on visitors from afar.

Vice Chairman of the People's Committee of Ca Mau province Ngo Vu Thang said that the festival is not only a cultural activity, but also affirms the province's determination to turn cuisine into a typical tourism product, contributing to spreading the image of the southernmost land on the tourism map of Vietnam and the region.
The festival brings together more than 100 food stalls with typical OCOP products of Ca Mau and Ho Chi Minh City, lasting until September 30. Every night, famous chefs will perform culinary performances, introducing dishes with a strong Ca Mau flavor.
In addition, there are also special art programs performed by the Provincial Cultural Center, Cao Van Lau Theater, and Huong Tram Opera Troupe to serve the public.

This year's event has the theme "Ca Mau - the southernmost point of the country, where nature and peace converge". In addition to the main activities, there are many sideline programs such as a famtrip to survey Ca Mau destinations, a forest planting ceremony in response to World Tourism Day, a Talented Chef competition, and a scientific seminar on positioning the Ca Mau tourism brand.
According to the organizers, the purpose of the festival is to promote the image of a Ca Mau rich in identity, safe and friendly, while opening up opportunities to connect businesses, artisans and the tourism community, especially between Ca Mau and Ho Chi Minh City. The event also aims to raise awareness of environmental protection, nature conservation and promoting cultural and culinary values associated with sustainable tourism development.
