Mr. Muoi said that the provincial leaders only learned about the incident through the press, and frankly criticized the authorities for being slow in handling the matter, while this is an issue directly related to students' health. "School meal safety is the top priority," Mr. Muoi emphasized.
Mr. Ho Van Muoi suggested that similar cases should be handled quickly, with proper authority, clarifying the quality of meals, food quality and the responsibility of the principal. If there are violations, individual and collective responsibility must be clearly identified.
Tensions surrounding the dirty food case
As Thanh Nien reported, on the evening of September 15, a complaint appeared on social networks accusing the Principal of Trung Vuong Primary School of contracting to bring dirty food into the school's canteen. On September 16, Lam Dong Provincial Police and the authorities of Xuan Huong Ward - Da Lat directly went to the school to verify. Concerned for their children's health, more than 100/700 parents proactively took their children home and did not allow them to eat at the school.

On the evening of September 18, Mr. Nguyen Mau Ha, Chairman of the People's Committee of Xuan Huong Ward - Da Lat, chaired the confrontation between Ms. Nguyen Thai Quynh Nga, Principal of the school and parents.
At this meeting, Ms. Nguyen Thi Kim Thanh (kitchen team for the 2024-2025 school year) said that since August 11, 2025, she and the kitchen team have sent many complaints about the principal's tolerance of dirty food in the boarding kitchen, but have not been invited to work with the authorities. Therefore, she decided to publicly post the complaint on social media for parents to know.
Ms. Nguyen Thi Kim Thanh repeatedly accused the Principal of Trung Vuong Primary School of condoning suppliers from bringing dirty food into the boarding school kitchen.

The parents asked Ms. Nga to answer clearly, if the accusation was true, the principal must admit it; if it was false, the slanderer must be punished. However, Ms. Nga's opening response not only eased the tension but also caused more anger and anxiety among the parents.
