VNPT promotes digital transformation in the education sector in Ho Chi Minh City

VNPT Ho Chi Minh City and the Department of Education and Training of Ho Chi Minh City have just signed a cooperation agreement on digital transformation in education and training for the period 2025 - 2030.

The event marks an important turning point in the digitalization process of the City's education sector, realizing the Government's goal of building a modern, smart and sustainable education system.

According to the agreement, VNPT will accompany the Department of Education and Training in many aspects from strategic consulting, infrastructure development, data management, to digital human resource training. The two sides will coordinate to synchronously deploy IT solutions to support educational institutions to accelerate digital transformation, apply technology in management, teaching and learning.

The two sides also cooperate in communication work, organizing events, seminars, training and improving IT knowledge for teachers. VNPT will also participate in consulting and building industry databases, Smart Education Operation Center (IOC) synchronized with the system of the Ministry of Education and Training and the People's Committee of Ho Chi Minh City. At the same time, it will support schools to meet the "Digital School" standards, ensuring infrastructure and information security to operate stably and effectively.

Not only stopping at infrastructure and platform, VNPT also commits to accompany the Ho Chi Minh City Education sector through many support and incentive programs for educational institutions, officials, teachers, students and pupils. Outstanding services include digital connection infrastructure such as FiberVNN, direct Internet, data transmission, VinaPhone mobile services... and digital education transformation solutions such as vnEdu ecosystem, vnEdu-HSS student records, digital report cards, vnEdu-Digilib digital library, VNPT-CA digital signature, SmartCA...

In particular, VNPT also supports consulting and implementing solutions to ensure information security; fostering and improving awareness and skills to ensure information safety and security for the Department's IT staff to accelerate digital transformation in the education sector in Ho Chi Minh City.
