(Dan Tri) - The Inspection Committee of An Nhon Town Party Committee (Binh Dinh) found that the violations of the Chairman of Nhon Phuc Commune People's Committee were serious, difficult to overcome, and caused bad public opinion among cadres, party members and people.

On January 15, the An Nhon Town Party Committee's Inspection Committee issued a disciplinary warning to Mr. Duong Thanh Cuong, Deputy Party Secretary and Chairman of the People's Committee of Nhon Phuc Commune, for allowing illegal mineral exploitation to occur.

Previously, on the evening of May 29, 2024, Binh Dinh Provincial Police coordinated with An Nhon Town Police to organize an ambush and arrest vehicles illegally mining sand in My Thanh village, Nhon Phuc commune. This illegal sand mining activity has been going on for a long time but has not been completely stopped.

After receiving the information, the An Nhon Town Party Committee's Inspection Committee inspected signs of violations against the Nhon Phuc Commune Party Committee for the 2020-2025 term in leading and directing the management of natural resources and minerals in the area.

The Inspection Committee also inspected signs of violations by Mr. Duong Thanh Cuong, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee, Chairman of the People's Committee of Nhon Phuc commune for the 2021-2026 term, in advising, organizing the implementation and management of resources and minerals according to the Party Committee's working regulations and regulations of law.

Through inspection, the An Nhon City Party Committee's Inspection Committee found that Mr. Duong Thanh Cuong violated the principle of democratic centralism, violated working regulations and lacked responsibility in performing assigned duties and tasks.

Mr. Duong Thanh Cuong is primarily responsible for the violations and shortcomings of the Nhon Phuc Commune Party Committee for the 2020-2025 term. His violations are serious and difficult to overcome, causing negative public opinion among cadres, party members, and people of Nhon Phuc Commune, reducing the prestige of himself, the party organization, and the agency where he lives and works.

The Inspection Committee of An Nhon Town Party Committee has disciplined Mr. Nguyen Kim Lan, Vice Chairman of Nhon Phuc Commune People's Committee and Captain Le Cong Thang, Chief of Nhon Phuc Commune Police.
