After reading the article "A fishing village woman just lost her husband, now her roof has also been blown away by the storm" ( Tuoi Tre Online September 29), reader Nhat Phuong could not hold back his emotions: "Reading the article brought tears to my eyes. I hope the government and philanthropists will help people rebuild their roofs!"

Reader Le Hoang Phuong clearly understands the dire circumstances of the people in the Central region who have to continuously fight against harsh storms: "One storm just passed, another storm comes, the Central region is struggling to fight against the storms!"

And when reading the news that after typhoon Bualoi, there will be 4-5 more typhoons in the East Sea from now until the end of the year, many readers worry about their compatriots and pray for favorable weather. Reader Thuan Giao hopes that the typhoons will weaken and not make landfall.

Mr. Hien hopes that "the storms that are forecast to come ashore will cause the lowest possible damage so that the lives of people in flooded areas will be less difficult." Mr. Minh Hieu prays that "the storm will end by Tet so that people will suffer less."

In the face of the storm, the practical and immediate actions of the authorities and functional forces have helped people overcome their difficulties. The sincere and heartfelt feelings, words of love and sharing of Tuoi Tre readers have warmed the hearts of the people of the Central region, helping them to recover.

The images of police officers and soldiers staying up all night, mobilizing all human and material resources to help people escape the flood, take the sick to the hospital, and the elderly to shelter make readers feel even more sympathetic.

Artists' donations and immediate solutions to electricity and water problems are practical actions that most deeply demonstrate the spirit of "the whole country supporting people in storm-hit areas".

Many readers believe that after a storm, electricity and water are important factors for life. Therefore, restoring electricity and water to people needs to be quick and timely.

After reading the article "Artists raise money, feel sorry for the suffering of people in storm Bualo" ( Tuoi Tre Online, September 30), reader Mr. Hien wrote: "I am really touched by the hearts of the artists, hoping that people in the flooded areas will soon overcome difficulties and return to normal life."

Before the image of "police officers carrying people with strokes to evacuate from storm Bualoi" in Ha Tinh, reader Hoang Hoa felt "I feel sorry for both the patients and the officers!". As for reader Long An , that image is "truly precious".

Some readers assert that this image is a clear expression of "humanity in storms and floods", and is "an example of the spirit of serving the people".

Reader named Uyen shared: "It's heartwarming to see people in special circumstances who cannot move on their own receive such timely and dedicated support."

Reader Phuc Le sent his "thanks to the rescue team who did not fear danger and stayed up all night to help people escape the flood".

Many readers hope that philanthropists will join hands and soon have a plan to support the reconstruction of people's lives because "a tile or a little money is also a great sharing at this time". Reader Quan Anh called out: "Everyone, let's join hands to help them overcome this difficulty!".

"When storm after storm like this happens, how can people, especially poor families like Mrs. Toan, manage... I hope local authorities and philanthropists will soon take timely measures to support her and others to stabilize their lives," a reader suggested.

Reader Long Doha is optimistic and wishes: "As long as there is skin, hair will grow, as long as there are buds, trees will sprout. I hope that people across the country will support the people of Central Vietnam to recover from the storm."

Thank you Tuoi Tre for connecting the bridge of humanity

On September 30, right after launching the program "Re-roofing houses for people in storm-hit areas", Tuoi Tre received a lot of love and affection from people across the country.

Early in the morning, an old lady came to Tuoi Tre newspaper to contribute 10 million VND to join the people of the whole country in supporting the people in the storm-hit areas. She said that reading the newspaper and watching the TV, she saw her people in the Central region suffering from the open sky and the bare ground, and she felt sorry for them. And knowing that Tuoi Tre newspaper would organize a charity program to help them, she took a bus to ask the newspaper to build a bridge of love.

Early in the afternoon of the same day, Tuoi Tre welcomed an 87-year-old man. He brought 100 million to join hands with other readers to re-roof houses for people in the storm-hit area. He said the above amount was the money he saved from his children's monthly living expenses. "I will contribute whatever I can, seeing the people out there suffering so much, I feel so sorry for them."

Under the article "Central region residents moved to receive money to re-roof their houses after storm Bualoi" ( Tuoi Tre September 29), many messages and confidences from readers were sent.

Reader Tran Quang Dinh wrote: "Sincere thanks to Tuoi Tre newspaper and readers near and far. We will remember this kindness forever."
