Could you share a few things on this occasion?

I am very happy that after many efforts and attempts, Bao Minh Industrial Park Infrastructure Investment Joint Stock Company has been recognized by management agencies, experts, customers and the community as an Industrial Real Estate Developer with a green transformation strategy by 2024.

To achieve this recognition is a long journey of effort, steadfastly pursuing the sustainable development goals that the business sets and seriously implementing.

Fully aware of social responsibility, especially regarding environmental issues, right from the time of investing in building industrial park infrastructure, attracting and calling on investors to build factories for production in the industrial park, Bao Minh Industrial Park Infrastructure Investment Joint Stock Company has built a set of criteria and adhered to the principle of putting environmental protection first, which is the vital task of the industrial park if it wants to operate long-term and develop sustainably.

We invest systematically in modern environmental protection works, always ensuring standards and regulations. Ensure 100% of wastewater is collected to the centralized wastewater treatment system, 100% of the wastewater after treatment meets the prescribed standards before being discharged into the environment.

Not only that, Bao Minh Industrial Park Infrastructure Investment Joint Stock Company always adheres to the criteria of prevention rather than cure, prioritizing prevention and response to environmental incidents and forecasting response plans when environmental incidents occur. Accordingly, 100% of enterprises in the industrial park must have incident prevention and response plans and incident prevention and response works before the factory is put into trial operation (wastewater treatment system, wastewater reservoir system in case of incident, incident pumping system, sluice gate...) to ensure that in case of an environmental incident at a factory, it cannot spread and affect neighboring areas.

Encourage enterprises to perfect production technology and use closed cycles, strictly control waste and emissions. Implementing technological solutions is understood as applying advanced scientific and technical achievements, clean technology equipment and lines into production so as to use resources and energy at the lowest level, and emit the least amount of waste into the environment.

In addition to the above criteria and principles, from 2018 to present, Bao Minh Industrial Park Infrastructure Investment Joint Stock Company has been assessed by the international organization TUV Nord to be certified to meet international standards on infrastructure management and environmental protection ISO 9001:2015 and ISO 14001:2015. In 2022, Bao Minh Industrial Park ( Nam Dinh ) of the Company was honored to be voted by the Institute for Urban Research and Infrastructure Development as "Typical Industrial Park of 2022" thanks to its technical infrastructure, environmentally friendly landscape, and professional services.

Workers are the core force to implement the commitments of enterprises and investors. Sir, what contents does Bao Minh Industrial Park Infrastructure Investment Joint Stock Company have related to environmental protection for workers?

We always strive to promote the role of workers in detecting and giving opinions on the activities of businesses that do not do a good job of protecting the environment and taking care of the material and spiritual lives of workers.

Regular consultations should be held with trade unions and human resource managers in enterprises to provide appropriate feedback to business owners when necessary. This is an important solution, because if businesses do not do a good job in protecting the environment, it will directly affect the community, affecting their health and even their lives. Therefore, it is necessary to enhance and promote the role of workers. When businesses are found to be doing poorly, it is necessary to consult with the industrial park management unit, thereby having discussions between the parties and proposing solutions.

When pursuing the goal of green development, what does Bao Minh Industrial Park Infrastructure Investment Joint Stock Company expect?

At this event, electronics, high technology, and AI are the main areas that investors expressed interest in. This is also a testament to the green development implementation story of Bao Minh Industrial Park Infrastructure Investment Joint Stock Company when we are trying to attract higher quality investment capital, with higher intellectual content and technology.

Also within the framework of the event, we signed cooperation agreements with the Guangdong High-Tech Chamber of Commerce, Shenzhen Intelligent Equipment Association, Shenzhen Electronic Equipment Association and Bach Tai Group. Hopefully, these first handshakes will not only help increase the operational efficiency of our industrial park, but also realize green development strategies, attracting high-quality investors to Vietnam in the coming time.
