Young girl had her phone snatched, fell off her motorbike and was bitten by a dog.

On June 25, Binh Hung Hoa A Ward Police (Binh Tan District, Ho Chi Minh City) received a report from a resident about a phone snatching incident that occurred in the area. The entire incident was recorded by a security camera.

Girl fell off motorbike when phone was snatched

Reflecting to reporters, Ms. NTH (40 years old, living in Binh Tan District) said that at more than 8:00 p.m. on June 17, she rode a motorbike carrying her niece named T. (20 years old), to a grocery store on Go Xoai Street, Binh Hung Hoa A Ward, Binh Tan District to buy things.

While stopping on the street in front of the grocery store, two thieves on a motorbike approached and snatched the phone from T's hand.

Being jerked, Ms. T. fell off her bike and hit her head on the road. Hearing the noise, the grocery store dog panicked and rushed out, biting Ms. T., while the robber sped away.

When falling off the bike, Ms. T. was also bitten by a dog and injured in the shoulder.

Meanwhile, people in the area where the phone snatching incident occurred said that when they heard the victim's screams, they ran out to chase him, but the robber sprayed pepper spray, causing many people's eyes to sting and they could not chase after him.

The grocery store owner also supported Ms. T. with some money to get vaccinated and take medicine after being accidentally bitten by the dog.

The victim and his family reported the theft to the police, saying that the phone had been stolen and had been purchased for more than 5 million VND. The police also extracted camera footage to investigate the theft.
