Coach Nguyen Tuan Kiet chose Hoang Thi Kieu Trinh and Vi Thi Nhu Quynh to replace her, playing in the opposite position. Both were rated as only average, and could not even maintain good playing condition at important moments of the match. Therefore, the coaching staff of the Vietnamese women's volleyball team expects both of them to need to improve in the upcoming decisive training period.
