Opportunities for Vietnamese AI startups to grow and successfully raise capital

With VietLeap AI Accelerator, AI startups have the opportunity to develop products, improve business capacity, prepare for fundraising and connect with the international investment ecosystem.

VietLeap AI Accelerator - Vietnam AI Accelerator - is the first specialized acceleration program for AI in Vietnam, marking an important step forward in building a national AI innovation and startup ecosystem.

The program is designed to support early-stage AI startups in product development, business capacity enhancement, fundraising preparation, and connection with the international investment ecosystem.

VietLeap AI Accelerator, co-organized by the National Innovation Center (NIC) under the Ministry of Finance , the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA), the Boston Consulting Group (BCG) and the Embassy of Japan, was recently launched at the Strategic Innovation and Technology Forum within the framework of the Vietnam International Innovation Exhibition 2025 (VIIE 2025).

The program is one of the important initiatives among many activities that JICA is implementing to support Vietnam in developing AI, thereby contributing to building a strong and sustainable innovation ecosystem.

VietLeap AI Accelerator plans to select 10–15 early-stage AI startups with growth potential and clear funding needs. Participating startups will receive partner network, strategic business connections and market expansion opportunities to promote sustainable growth. At the same time, access to advanced resources such as cloud credits, high-performance GPU infrastructure, APIs and essential business toolkits from leading technology partners, helping to accelerate product development and scale effectively.

In addition, AI startups also receive 1:1 advice from leading industry experts, support in strengthening business models, optimizing market access strategies and improving operational capacity, perfecting pitch decks, verifying business models and preparing for the fundraising process through connections with leading venture capital funds and reputable financial partners.

Backed by international partners and investors, VietLeap AI Accelerator is expected to boost the long-term growth of Vietnam's digital economy and strengthen the country's position in the global AI value chain.
