F88 shares just listed on the stock exchange increased to the ceiling price of over 888,000 VND, a fever on the stock market.

On August 8, F88 Investment Joint Stock Company, owner of the largest pawnshop system in Vietnam, officially listed more than 8.26 million shares on UPCoM, according to a decision just announced by the Hanoi Stock Exchange (HNX).

With a total registered value of more than VND 82.6 billion, this event marks a new turning point in the development journey of the largest mortgage lending enterprise in Vietnam.

What is most notable is that the reference price in the first trading session of F88 was determined at 634,900 VND/share, the highest on the Vietnamese stock market today.

By 9:15 a.m., the company's shares were trading at the ceiling price, increasing by 253,900 VND/share (39.99%), to 888,800 VND/share, among the stocks with the highest market price on the stock exchange at present.

With this price, the stock assets of Mr. Phung Tuan Anh, chairman of F88 company, skyrocketed to nearly 880 billion VND.

This price is also far ahead of the codes that are holding the "throne" in terms of market price such as WCS (Mien Tay Bus Station) at 411,000 VND, or VNZ stock of the technology "unicorn" VNG which is stopping at 396,300 VND.

According to information from F88, the reference price is based on careful calculations from the 2024 audited financial report, in which the book value is currently about VND 209,000/share, a very high number compared to the current market level.

F88 is the largest mortgage lending company in Vietnam, with a current network of nearly 900 stores nationwide, providing a variety of services such as mortgage lending, bill payment, insurance distribution, and money transfer...

In the first half of 2025, the company recorded total revenue of VND 1,744 billion, up 30% over the same period last year. Of which, the core activity of mortgage lending contributed VND 1,521 billion, up 28%. Notably, pre-tax profit reached VND 321 billion, an impressive growth of 213%.
