On the evening of September 27, at Hong Lien Theater - Hau Giang Cultural Center (HCMC), the live music night "Train back to the homeland" performed by artist Quach Phu Thanh and singer Pham Thieng Ngan ended in thunderous applause, tearful eyes and sweet melodies that lingered in the hearts of the audience.

This is a music program that brings listeners back to the simple, peaceful memories of their homeland, childhood and love through many famous songs of the past, including some new songs.

To have a musical journey full of emotions, Aaron Kwok always put himself in a position to face challenges. With the support of the Polygon band and the vivid illustrations of the IDC Dance Group, the performances in the show were creatively invested by him, and were delicately staged by the crew, creating a colorful musical picture.

From soulful folk songs to deep lyrical songs, the program has stirred up very real emotions in the listeners. The songs: "Buồn hán sầu hiu", "Cốc bầu sầu ai", "Lả thơ lục bình" evoke the river scene of the Western region, where nostalgia and love intertwine; "Moi anh về tham que em", "Hên ngày bán duyên", "Gập nhau giua rung mơ", "Trai tài gai sắc" - cheerful songs, recalling the old rustic charm.

In particular, the song "Listening to vọng cổ at night" - a highlight connecting music with traditional theater, makes the audience relive the golden theater nights of the past.

Artist Quach Phu Thanh is a versatile face, he can sing well and act flexibly from reformed opera to music.

The music night gathered a group of quality singers and guest artists: Quoc Dai, Hong Sap, Le Trang, Mai Vu Luan, Huynh Trieu Phu, Ngoc Tam, Thanh Thuan. They all have passion, together with Quach Phu Thanh and Pham Thieng Ngan to create a meaningful music night.

Each artist brought carefully prepared performances, spreading sincere emotions, as if telling their own stories.

It was the blend of experienced artists and enthusiastic young singers that created a musical night rich in expressive nuances.

Audiences have known Quach Phu Thanh’s emotional stage roles under the guidance of People’s Artist Huu Quoc. Before he embarked on and asserted himself in the music industry, he started out as a stage actor and was nurtured and supported by his teacher – People’s Artist Huu Quoc.

On July 20, Aaron Kwok made a splash with the mini show "Remembering Homeland" also at the Hong Lien theater, creating a positive effect and leaving a good impression in the hearts of fans.

He also made his mark in the program of artist Thanh Long "The Fire of the Profession Never Extinguished" (a student of artist Thanh Son), especially through the role of Trong Thuy in the excerpt of the ancient play "Co Loa Love and Hatred" with Meritorious Artist Trinh Trinh - a role that showed his inner depth and stage presence.
