On the evening of September 22, the Co To Border Guard fired emergency flares to call on ships to come ashore to avoid super typhoon Ragasa. Quang Ninh and Hai Phong simultaneously tightened their response and prepared to evacuate people.

Co To Border Guard Station fired flares to call on ships to take shelter.

Faced with the complex developments and dangerous level of super typhoon Ragasa, on the evening of September 22, Co To Border Guard Station fired signal flares to call on ships to urgently find safe shelter.

At the same time, officers and soldiers were assigned to coordinate with local authorities to check and call on ships operating at sea to urgently move to safe anchorages, and absolutely not let fishermen and vehicles stay in dangerous areas.

Co To Border Guard Station also recommends that ship owners and fishermen regularly monitor weather forecasts and keep in touch with authorities to respond promptly and ensure safety of life and property before the super typhoon makes landfall.

Mobilizing the entire system to respond to super typhoon Ragasa

Earlier the same day, the People's Committee of Quang Ninh province issued Official Dispatch No. 3418/UBND-TC requesting departments, branches and localities to urgently deploy measures to respond to storm Ragasa.

The People's Committee of Quang Ninh province requested heads of departments, branches, localities, units, agencies and enterprises in the province to promptly develop plans to prevent storms early and from afar, ensuring the safety of people's lives and minimizing property damage.

Resolutely implement the direction of the Prime Minister, the National Civil Defense Steering Committee, the Provincial People's Committee Chairman, and the Provincial Civil Defense Command on proactively responding to the super typhoon, closely monitor the storm's developments and dangerous weather patterns and mobilize the entire political system to take action, absolutely do not be negligent or subjective.

Hai Phong : Ready to evacuate people to avoid storms

To proactively respond to storm Ragasa, the Chairman of Hai Phong City People's Committee requested that city departments, branches, and commune-level People's Committees absolutely must not be negligent or subjective, and must be well prepared to proactively prevent, combat, and overcome the consequences caused by storms, floods, and heavy rains. Especially be on guard against thunderstorms and lightning that can cause damage before the storm directly affects.

Closely monitor storm developments, deploy protection for houses, constructions, agricultural and aquatic production; provide timely information so that people can proactively take precautions.

People's Committees at all levels proactively respond to the situation, pay attention to heavy rain causing flooding and landslides. Review and evacuate households in dangerous areas, protect aquaculture farmers and vessels at sea, and maintain communication to promptly handle incidents...
