Dong Nai police searched Thanh Buoi company headquarters

On November 10, many specialized vehicles of Dong Nai Provincial Police and police officers appeared at the headquarters of Thanh Buoi Company Ltd., located at 266-272 Le Hong Phong (Ward 4, District 5).

This move took place when Dinh Quan District Police (Dong Nai) prosecuted and temporarily detained Le Duong (32 years old, Deputy Director of Thanh Buoi Company Limited) for the crime of Mobilizing unqualified people to drive vehicles to participate in road traffic.

Mr. Le Duong is the son of Mr. Le Duc Thanh (born in 1956, Director of Thanh Buoi Company Limited). This is a case that Dong Nai Police expanded their investigation from the accident on Highway 20 between Thanh Buoi sleeper bus and 16-seat car, which resulted in 5 deaths.

On September 30, Mr. Duong signed an order to mobilize driver Hoang Van Tinh to drive from Ho Chi Minh City to Da Lat. Meanwhile, Tinh had his driving license revoked by Lam Dong Provincial Police since August 5. After that, Tinh drove the car, causing an accident that killed 5 people and injured 3 others.

According to research, this bus company has more than 1,300 employees, most of whom run the routes HCMC - Da Lat and Da Lat - HCMC - Can Tho. This company had its license revoked for 3 months by the HCMC Department of Transportation and was fined 91 million VND for 8 violations.
