In Official Dispatch No. 7492/CD-BCT dated October 1, the Ministry of Industry and Trade requested the Department of Industry and Trade of provinces and cities to closely monitor the developments of the commodity market, ensuring adequate supply of essential goods and goods to help overcome the consequences of rain and storms.

Market management forces monitor and require businesses selling essential goods, construction materials, repair supplies, generators, and electrical and water storage equipment to commit to continuously supplying goods at stable prices.

Commercial businesses and markets in the area have plans to supply mobile goods in areas affected by rain and floods; strengthen connections and search for sources of goods from other localities so that supply is not interrupted.

Assess and propose the need to coordinate essential goods sources through distribution channels to promptly supply people and stabilize the local market.

In the last months of the year, the departments of industry and trade have plans to prepare goods sources and stabilize the market, ensure the supply of goods, especially essential goods during holidays and Tet, peak consumer demand, contributing to ensuring social security and controlling inflation.

Proactively provide information on supply and prices of essential goods to avoid panic and market instability.

Enterprises producing and trading essential goods must ensure adequate supply for localities, prioritizing high-demand items such as food, foodstuffs and essential products such as construction materials, consumer goods, etc.

Businesses need to develop specific production and supply plans to meet increased demand at the end of the year.

Distribution enterprises review and coordinate supply sources, focus resources on transporting and supplying essential goods throughout the system, prioritizing areas affected by natural disasters, and strictly implement instructions on stockpiling goods and stabilizing the market.

Key traders producing and trading gasoline and oil must proactively source goods and provide enough for the system, absolutely not allowing supply interruptions in the entire distribution chain from key traders, distributors to agents and retail stores.

Maintain regular sales activities, sell at the listed price and strictly implement regulations on gasoline and oil reserves, ensuring adequate supply for the domestic market in all situations.
