On October 9 and 10, soldiers from the Fire Prevention, Fighting and Rescue Police Department (PCCC-CNCH), Hanoi City Police used vehicles to go directly into deeply flooded areas to support people in Trung Gia commune.

In Xuan Son village, Trung Gia commune, Hanoi city, rising river water level caused deep flooding of roads and residential areas, affecting people's lives and property.

Police used boats to move into flooded areas to assist people.

Receiving instructions from the Commander of the Fire Prevention and Rescue Police Department, the Fire Prevention and Rescue Police Team on the river mobilized officers and soldiers, along with 1 truck, 1 ambulance, 2 rescue boats, dozens of rescue life jackets to the scene to coordinate with local authorities to deploy rescue, relief, and support people.

Police and people deployed measures to shore up the banks and prevent flooding.

Fire and Rescue officers and soldiers divided into many teams to coordinate with Trung Gia Commune Police to deploy rescue boats to move people to safe areas.

According to authorities, currently in Trung Gia commune there are more than 2,400 households with over 9,500 people temporarily isolated.
