Specifically, Thanh Hoa Provincial Police have inspected the operation and production process at the factory; collected samples of exhaust gas and wastewater to serve the investigation according to people's feedback on the environmental pollution situation here.

Previously, on June 20, 2025, Thanh Hoa Provincial Party Secretary Nguyen Doan Anh had a regular meeting and direct dialogue with the people in June 2025. At the meeting, a representative of the residential area of village 15, Xuan Sinh commune, Tho Xuan district (now Sao Vang commune) presented the content of the reflection of Nhat Long Fertilizer Joint Stock Company's production activities causing environmental pollution, affecting the lives and activities of local people and proposed to relocate the company out of the residential area.

Receiving feedback from the people, the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee and the Provincial People's Committee leaders directed the Provincial Police to preside over and coordinate with the Department of Agriculture and Environment, the People's Committee of Tho Xuan district (old) and related units to urgently inspect and clarify the content of the feedback on the above environmental pollution activities; strictly handle violations (if any) in accordance with the provisions of law.

The People's Committee of Tho Xuan District (old) requested Nhat Long Thanh Hoa Fertilizer Joint Stock Company to handle, remedy and strictly comply with regulations on environmental protection, not affecting the lives and activities of the people. At the same time, study the plan to relocate the production facility of Nhat Long Thanh Hoa Fertilizer Joint Stock Company out of the residential area to a suitable area, ensuring the provisions of the law.

On July 4, 2025, Thanh Hoa Electronic Newspaper and Radio - Television published an article on Early verification of environmental pollution status according to the reflection of Sao Vang commune residents with the following content: Many households in village 15, Sao Vang commune reported that Nhat Long Thanh Hoa Fertilizer Joint Stock Company operating in the area caused environmental pollution, affecting the health and lives of the people.
