Announcing 12 tourist routes to explore the beautiful nature in Thanh Hoa

(CLO) 12 trekking routes in the forest in Thanh Hoa with beautiful natural landscapes, majestic waterfalls... will be a destination for tourists who love adventure and discovery.

On December 7, the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Thanh Hoa held a ceremony to announce 12 trekking tours. This is a new tourism product in Thanh Hoa province, aiming to bring a breakthrough to the tourism industry in mountainous areas.

Accordingly, 12 trekking tour routes are located in Ba Thuoc, Quan Hoa and Thuong Xuan districts.

There are 4 routes in Ba Thuoc district, including: Pu Luong peak trekking route (1,700m); Hon Con Soi adventure trekking route; Pu Luong peak - Hon Con Soi trekking route; Pu Luong heritage route trekking route (Ba Thuoc - Quan Hoa inter-district route).

Quan Hoa district includes 3 routes: Pu Hu peak trekking route (1,440m); Green tea tree heritage trekking route; Pu Hu peak trekking route - Green tea tree heritage trekking route.

Thuong Xuan district includes 5 routes: Pu Gio peak trekking route (1,600m); Trekking route to visit heritage trees of po mu and sa mu; Trekking route to see gray langurs and white-cheeked gibbons; Trekking route to see gray langurs, white-cheeked gibbons and visit heritage trees of po mu and sa mu; Trekking route to Pu Xeo peak - 7-storey waterfall - Lung Nhai Oath historical site.

In addition to the above tourist routes, trekking tours are also designed based on the needs and interests of tourists.

Mr. Pham Nguyen Hong, Director of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Thanh Hoa, said that the western mountainous districts of the province have extremely rich and diverse natural tourism resources, beautiful natural landscapes with clear streams, majestic waterfalls hidden among nature reserves, very suitable for forming experience routes from short, easy to go, to long, challenging routes.

Besides, Thanh Hoa mountainous area is home to many ethnic minorities with unique cultural features, which are ideal conditions for Thanh Hoa province to develop trekking tours.

"The development of trekking tours is the province's effort to develop tourism in line with the slogan "Thanh Hoa Tourism - Four Seasons of Fragrance". Thereby, bringing tourists new experiences, promoting the diversification of the province's tourism products and the trend of tourism development in the new situation...", Mr. Hong emphasized.

The form of adventure tourism trekking tour has marked a new step forward for Thanh Hoa tourism industry and will be an opportunity for mountainous districts to make a breakthrough in tourism development, bringing in large revenue each year, not just stopping at the current figure of contributing more than 10% per year to the total revenue of the entire tourism industry.

The trekking routes announced by the Thanh Hoa provincial tourism sector this time mainly aim to take tourists to conquer high mountain peaks located in special-use forests and Pu Luong, Pu Hu and Pu Gio nature reserves.
