Festival of love and cultural roots

In Vietnamese cultural life, the Mid-Autumn Festival is considered a "Tet of childhood." Historical records show that since the Ly Dynasty, the Mid-Autumn Festival has become a major festival in the capital city of Thang Long. The king organized a grand celebration from the royal court to the people, with many activities: banquets, water puppetry, boat racing, lion dances. Everywhere in the capital was decorated with splendid lights and flowers, and people were excited to have fun. Customs such as worshiping ancestors, displaying fruit trays, hanging lanterns, breaking feasts, carrying lanterns... have been passed down through generations and maintained to this day, becoming a beautiful cultural feature of the nation.
