On the afternoon of June 14, Vinh Loc district held a conference to announce the Project of Planning for Conservation and Promotion of the Value of Kim Son National Scenic Landscape in association with the development of tourism services. The Kim Son National Scenic Area is a system of limestone mountains and swamps, with beautiful natural landscapes, historical and cultural relics and many valuable large caves. Currently, many poems are still preserved here, written on the cliffs of the caves.

With its prime and outstanding value, the Kim Son mountain area was recognized as a National Scenic Spot by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism in 2009. This place has been chosen as one of the important tourist destinations in the Ma River Tourism Route, the community tourism routes of Vinh Loc district and the World Cultural Heritage of Ho Dynasty Citadel. In order to promote the potential of Kim Son scenic spot for tourism development and socio -economic development of Vinh Loc district, the Provincial People's Committee agreed in principle, assigned the District People's Committee to establish a planning task and was approved by the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee in Decision No. 1362/QD-UBND dated April 17, 2019.

After nearly 5 years of planning, with the determination and efforts of leaders and authorities at all levels of Vinh Loc district; the enthusiastic guidance and assistance of provincial departments and branches; the attention and support of the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, the Planning for conservation and promotion of the value of the national scenic spot of Kim Son mountain, Vinh Loc district, Thanh Hoa province associated with the development of tourism services has been approved by the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee in Decision No. 2259/QD-UBND, dated June 3, 2024 with a total area of ​​about 173.54 hectares, located in Vinh An commune and part of Minh Tan commune (Vinh Loc), including: Area of ​​relic protection areas 109.91 hectares (of which, protection area I: 97.16 hectares; Protection area II: 12.74 hectares); The area of ​​the expanded area for landscape protection, relic value promotion and tourism development is 63.63 hectares. The main objective is to protect the original elements of the relic; preserve, restore and promote the value of the Kim Son Mountain Scenic Landscape. At the same time, turn the relic into a valuable tourist attraction, contributing to the socio-economic development of the region.

Update the boundaries of the planned relic area into the scientific records of relic ranking and planning, land use plans of the province and Vinh Loc district in accordance with each period; urgently develop a roadmap for land recovery to hand over and implement the plan to protect relics and implement component investment projects according to the approved planning. At the same time, advise and submit to competent authorities for approval or approve groups of component projects according to the provisions of law; implement management of conservation, investment and construction activities according to the approved Planning and planning management regulations. Carry out construction investment within the protected area of ​​the relic on the principle of complying with the provisions of the approved Planning and related planning established in accordance with the provisions of law on planning and construction.
