Ban Ve Hydropower Company's Trade Union successfully organized the 4th Congress, term 2025-2030

The Trade Union of Ban Ve Hydropower Company currently has 148 officers, employees, and workers (CBCNV, NLĐ), of which 32 are female. During the past term, the weather situation in Nghe An province and the Ban Ve Hydropower Plant area had many complicated developments, which significantly affected the production and business activities of the unit.

In particular, storms No. 3, No. 5 and No. 10 in 2025 directly hit Nghe An, causing heavy rain, flooding, and flash floods, which greatly affected the lives of workers, production, business, and union activities. In addition, due to the nature of the work, employees and workers are divided into many areas, causing difficulties for the Union Executive Committee's activities. The change of the two-level local government also affected the Company's operations, forcing some activities to change to suit the new government where the Company and factory are located.

However, Ban Ve Hydropower Company has organized the management and operation of the generators of Ban Ve Hydropower Plant in accordance with the operating procedures approved by all levels, ensuring the generators operate continuously, safely and effectively, contributing to solving the difficulty of power shortage for the system, especially during peak months. The economic and technical indicators of the years have all met and exceeded the plan.

During the past term, the Trade Union of Ban Ve Hydropower Company has also achieved positive results in caring for the lives, protecting the rights and legitimate interests of employees and workers. The Trade Union has coordinated with the professional staff to organize the annual Labor Conference in accordance with regulations; participated in developing annual plans and tasks, building and settling the salary fund, participating in distributing the salary fund, reward fund and welfare in accordance with the prescribed regime. The distribution of salaries, bonuses and other benefits of employees and workers are all guaranteed to be fair and public.

In addition, the Union has contributed many ideas in arranging the workforce and assigning jobs to the staff and workers in accordance with the unit's annual situation and tasks.

Thanks to that, the jobs and incomes of employees and workers in the past term were ensured to be stable. Every year, the Trade Union cooperates with the professional to do a good job of increasing salaries and promoting the ranks of employees. Fully implement the regimes of study tours and health care according to the regulations of Vietnam Electricity Group and Power Generation Corporation 1. Every year, the unit creates maximum conditions for employees and workers to take rest according to the prescribed regime. The company has reviewed salary increases and transferred salary scales to employees in a timely manner, in accordance with regulations...

In addition, the Union also plays an important role in ensuring the rights of workers regarding working regimes, rest time, sick leave, maternity leave, insurance regimes... Regularly organize visits for workers in difficult circumstances, with serious illnesses with a total amount of 452 million VND. Support for families of workers affected by storm No. 5 from the union fund is 20 million VND and from the source calling on union members to support is 293.5 million VND...

The union also cares about ensuring working and living conditions for the workforce of engineers operating factories and supervising at construction sites, building and repairing sports facilities. Every year, in coordination with the professional, the youth union does a good job of praising and rewarding children of employees and laborers with high academic achievements; regularly organizes recreational and cultural activities for children on the occasion of June 1 and Mid-Autumn Festival...

Speaking at the Congress, comrade Tran Doan Thanh - Member of the Executive Committee of Vietnam Electricity Trade Union, Chairman of the Trade Union of Power Generation Corporation 1, highly appreciated the results that the Trade Union of Ban Ve Hydropower Company has achieved during the past term. At the same time, he hoped that in the coming term, the Trade Union will coordinate with the professional department to complete and exceed the electricity production and business targets assigned by Power Generation Corporation 1; ensure jobs and stable income for employees; build a strong unit in all aspects to adapt to the requirements of the country and EVN in the new era...

On this occasion, the Congress also elected the Executive Committee of the Trade Union for the 4th term, 2025-2030; elected a delegation to attend the higher-level trade union congress. Comrade Le Trung Ky - Manager of the Operation Workshop was elected to hold the position of Chairman of the Trade Union of Ban Ve Hydropower Company for the 2025-2030 term.
