Vinh Long Electricity Company: Notice of power outage due to electricity debt via SMS and collection of switching costs SOUTHERN POWER CORPORATION

Vinh Long Electricity Company would like to inform customers using electricity to apply SMS notification of electricity bill, reminder of electricity bill debt, notification of power outage due to electricity debt instead of paper notification and apply the cost of power outage and re-supply.

- Applicable time: from October 2025

- Electricity bill notification, electricity bill reminder: Via one of the following forms: Zalo, EVNSPC Customer Service App, SMS message instead of previous paper notifications.

- Notice of power outage due to electricity debt: Via SMS message instead of previous paper notice.

- Payment deadline for electricity bill: within 05 days from the date of receiving the first electricity bill notice.

- Time to cut off power supply: 24 hours after sending notice of cut off power supply to customers via SMS.

- Switching costs (when power supply has been interrupted):

+ For customers using electricity for domestic purposes depending on voltage level: cost ranges from 98,000 VND/time to 339,000 VND/time (excluding VAT).

+ For customers using electricity for non-domestic purposes, depending on the distance adjustment coefficient: costs range from VND 98,000/time to VND 576,000/time (excluding VAT)

Vinh Long Electricity Company would like to inform customers using electricity to pay their electricity bills promptly and within the prescribed time limit to avoid incurring related costs.

We recommend that you install the EVNSPC Customer Service App and re-register your phone number with the Electricity industry (if there is any change) to receive all the above information.
