Da Nang plans to move the Ngoc Linh Ginseng International Festival to 2026

The People's Committee of Da Nang City agreed to the policy of changing the time of organizing the International Festival of Ngoc Linh Ginseng and Medicinal Herbs in 2025 (expected to be moved to 2026).

The Department of Agriculture and Environment of Da Nang City has announced the temporary suspension of the international exhibition of Ngoc Linh ginseng and medicinal herbs within the framework of the International Festival of Ngoc Linh ginseng (Vietnamese ginseng) and medicinal herbs in Quang Nam province in 2025.

Previously, on June 16, the Department of Agriculture and Environment of Quang Nam province (old), now the Department of Agriculture and Environment of Da Nang city, issued an official dispatch inviting participants to participate in the 2025 International Festival of Ngoc Linh ginseng and medicinal herbs.

The festival is expected to be held from August 1 to August 3, 2025 at the old 24/3 Quang Nam Square. However, on July 14, the Office of the Da Nang City People's Committee issued an official dispatch announcing the conclusion of the July 7 meeting of the Chairman and Vice Chairmen of the City People's Committee.

Accordingly, the People's Committee of Da Nang City has agreed to move the time of organizing the International Festival of Ngoc Linh Ginseng and Medicinal Herbs to 2025 (expected to move to 2026).

Therefore, the Department informs the Department of Agriculture and Environment of provinces and cities about the temporary suspension of the organization of the international exhibition of Ngoc Linh ginseng and medicinal herbs within the framework of the International Festival of Ngoc Linh ginseng and medicinal herbs in Quang Nam province in 2025. At the same time, the specific time and location of the new organization will be announced after an official decision is made./.
