The construction encroaching on Tri An lake has been demolished.

Regarding the solid fence project that encroaches on and encroaches on Tri An Lake, according to Thanh Nien reporters, this project has now been demolished.

At the scene, concrete blocks, steel wires and split rocks were lying around. The bamboo trees planted next to the concrete fence were also removed, and the surface of Tri An lake was clean and clear again.

Previously, as Thanh Nien reported, in early May 2023, Thanh Nien reporters discovered a solid fence structure tens of meters long surrounding Tri An lake, located in Hamlet 2, Ma Da commune, about 1 km from Chien Khu D bridge.

This fence crosses the water level marker (marker 62, below this mark is semi-submerged land belonging to Tri An lake) for about 20 meters. The fence has a concrete foundation structure, with steel mesh panels on top.

In addition, at the end of the fence there is a row of bamboo planted next to an automatic irrigation system. From a distance, a part of Tri An lake is occupied by this project.

Regarding the handling of encroaching constructions on Tri An Lake (mainly eco -tourism spots), the People's Committee of Vinh Cuu District has directed the authorities of the three communes of Hieu Liem, Ma Da, and Phu Ly to handle dozens of encroaching constructions, returning the natural area to Tri An Lake.
