The Tri An Hydropower Plant Expansion Project has reclaimed 73% of the land area.

According to the report of the Department of Industry and Trade, the Tri An Hydropower Plant Expansion Project in Vinh Cuu District has so far approved the compensation and land acquisition plan for 67/92 hectares, reaching about 73% of the land area to be acquired for the project. The remaining area is land that has not been compensated; the Provincial People's Committee has directed the Vinh Cuu District People's Committee to urgently complete the determination of specific land prices, price application, and development of compensation, support, and resettlement plans this June.

The Vinh Cuu District Land Fund Development Center has handed over nearly 22 hectares of land. It is expected that by June 30, compensation will be completed and the land will be handed over for about 65/92 hectares, equivalent to about 70% of the total land area to be recovered.

The Tri An Hydropower Plant Expansion Project, invested by Vietnam Electricity Group, has a total installed capacity of 200 MW and is expected to start construction on the occasion of National Day, September 2. In particular, the Hieu Liem Bridge project will start construction from December 29, 2024.
