Dr. Le Anh Duc - Head of Training Management Department, National Economics University - said that in response to the adjustments proposed by the Ministry of Education and Training in the draft Admission Regulations, the school will make some adjustments.
In the draft regulations, the Ministry of Education and Training requires that all admission methods use a common scale to evaluate candidates' similar abilities. Therefore, all methods will use a common scale, for example, at the National Economics University, the scale used is 30.
The National Economics University decided not to divide the quota for admission methods as every year. A candidate applying to the school can have many admission data (competency assessment test scores of 2 National Universities, Thinking assessment test scores of Hanoi University of Science and Technology, combined admission...) will be converted to a 30-point scale at the equivalent level. From there, the school will take out the highest score to consider for the candidate.

In the 2025 Enrollment Project announced by the National Economics University in early January, the University uses three admission methods: direct admission according to regulations of the Ministry of Education and Training, considering high school graduation exam results, and combined admission.
This year, the National Economics University will recruit 4 groups A00 (Math, Physics, Chemistry), A01 (Math, Physics, English), D01 (Math, Literature, English), D07 (Math, Chemistry, English) instead of 9 groups as in 2024.
