Tay Ho women compete in green actions, join hands to build a model ward

Attending were Party Central Committee member, Vice President of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, President of the Vietnam Women's Union Nguyen Thi Tuyen.

During the past term, the Women's Union of Tay Ho ward completed many key targets and tasks, many of which exceeded the set targets.

The emulation movements “Building Vietnamese women of the new era”, “Capital women are loyal - creative - responsible - elegant”, the “5 no - 3 clean” movement… have gone into depth, contributing to improving the quality of spiritual and material life of members.

The Ward Women's Union also effectively implemented activities to support women in starting businesses, developing the economy, participating in maintaining political security, protecting the environment, and promoting tourism and services. The work of supervision, social criticism, and participation in giving opinions on building the Party and government has had positive changes. The organization of the Union has been constantly strengthened and improved; the Union's staff is dynamic, creative, and attached to the grassroots, meeting the requirements of tasks in the new situation.

In particular, right after reorganizing the apparatus and operating the two-level government model, the Association proactively adapted, maintained the movement, maintained solidarity, promoted the spirit of responsibility, and contributed to building the image of Tay Ho ward women as dynamic, creative, loyal, and responsible...

Speaking at the Congress, President of the Vietnam Women's Union Nguyen Thi Tuyen praised the results that the Tay Ho Ward Women's Union had achieved in the past term.

He emphasized that in the context of the entire political system being reorganized and operated according to the two-level local government model, the Ward Women's Union has made efforts to innovate, adapt, and perform its tasks well, thereby affirming the position of the Union organization at the grassroots level.

Comrade Nguyen Thi Tuyen believes that with the tradition of solidarity and creativity, women of Tay Ho ward will continue to promote their potential and advantages to build Tay Ho ward into a cultural, tourism and service center of the capital.

Expressing her agreement with the goals, 6 groups of targets, 5 key tasks and 3 groups of major solutions proposed by the Congress's political report, President of the Vietnam Women's Union Nguyen Thi Tuyen highly appreciated the emulation movement "West Lake Women take green actions, contributing to the preservation and promotion of the value of West Lake".

Suggesting some directions, the President of the Vietnam Women's Union suggested that the Tay Ho Ward Women's Union should continue to innovate the content and methods of operation; strengthen the application of digital transformation; promote the core role of women in building civilized, progressive and happy families; at the same time, participate in preserving a safe living environment, spreading the cultural beauty of women in the capital to international friends.

On behalf of the Party Committee, People's Council, People's Committee and Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the ward, comrade Nguyen Dinh Khuyen, Party Committee Secretary, Chairman of the People's Council of Tay Ho ward acknowledged and commended the efforts and outstanding results of the ward Women's Union in the past term, especially the contributions of more than 8,600 members to patriotic emulation movements, building happy families, and preserving civilized urban lifestyle.

Comrade Nguyen Dinh Khuyen affirmed that the Ward Party Committee will continue to pay attention and create favorable conditions for the Ward Women's Union to promote its core role, proactively innovate, be creative, and accompany the Party Committee, government and people to build Tay Ho Ward into a cultural, service and tourism center of the Capital.
