The 5th Congress of the Youth Union of Quang Ninh Thermal Power Company was a great success.

The Congress was honored to welcome comrade Vu Thi Hien Anh, member of the Provincial Youth Union Executive Committee, member of the Provincial People's Committee Youth Union Standing Committee, Secretary of the Youth Union of Ha Long Specialized High School; comrade Le Viet Cuong, Deputy Secretary, Chairman of the Party Committee's Inspection Committee, member of the Board of Directors, Deputy General Director of the Company to attend and direct. The Congress also gathered 58 outstanding delegates, representing 110 union members of the entire Company. This was not only a broad political activity but also demonstrated the unified will, firm belief and development aspirations of the youth of Quang Ninh Thermal Power. With the motto of action "Pioneer - Solidarity - Courage - Breakthrough - Development", the Congress affirmed a new step of maturity of the Youth Union organization in the context of the whole province holding Youth Union congresses at all levels, towards the 13th National Youth Union Congress.

In the context of many difficulties and challenges, the Company's Youth Union has achieved many outstanding results such as: accompanying production and business; undertaking many key steps in operating, repairing and maintaining equipment; participating in implementing 92 technical innovation initiatives, contributing to cost savings, increasing productivity and improving the working environment. Youth projects such as safety signs, renovating control circuits, planting trees, etc. have made a clear mark.

Regarding community volunteerism, the entire Union donated nearly 200 million VND to social security; contributed more than 400 units of blood; organized activities such as "Green Sunday", "Lighting up the countryside", "For a green Vietnam"... linking social responsibility with the beautiful image of the Company's youth.

Regarding the care of the young generation, the Youth Union maintains skills training, E-learning, develops sports and arts clubs, takes care of children of employees and disadvantaged children in the area. During the term, 28 outstanding members were honored to stand in the ranks of the Party, adding young and intellectual forces to the Company's Party Committee. The above results have helped the Company's Youth Union to be recognized as an excellent and strong unit for many consecutive years.

Comrade Vu Xuan Vuong presented the Political Report of the Company's Youth Union Executive Committee, Term IV, at the Congress.

The Congress discussed and agreed on the goals, targets and three strategic breakthroughs, closely linking production and business tasks with building the Youth Union and social responsibility. The Executive Committee of the 5th term, consisting of 15 comrades, was elected with high confidence, demonstrating confidence in the young cadres with sufficient qualities, capacity and courage in the new period. The Congress also elected 5 outstanding delegates to attend the Congress of the Youth Union of the Quang Ninh Provincial People's Committee, affirming the role, position and contribution of the Company's Youth Union in the youth movement of the whole province.

Speaking at the Congress, Comrade Vu Thi Hien Anh, Member of the Provincial Youth Union Executive Committee, Member of the Provincial People's Committee Youth Union Standing Committee, Secretary of the Youth Union of Ha Long High School for the Gifted, highly appreciated the sense of responsibility, seriousness, and science in the preparation work and the outstanding results that the Youth Union of Quang Ninh Thermal Power Company has achieved in the past term. She emphasized the pioneering role of the Company's youth in ensuring safe and continuous electricity supply for the national power system and making an important contribution to the province's economic growth. Comrade Vu Thi Hien Anh also made a special note : From June 2025, the Youth Union of Quang Ninh Thermal Power Joint Stock Company officially became a grassroots Youth Union under the Youth Union of Quang Ninh Provincial People's Committee - this is an important milestone, demonstrating the province's recognition of the role, position and contributions of the Company's Youth Union.

He suggested that the Congress focus on discussing and resolving key issues such as renewing leadership thinking, proactively researching new development models associated with energy conversion, and continuing to promote the work of building the Youth Union organization .
